The Ickey Woods Youth Foundation was formed in 2004 as a
non-profit organization to provide guidance and mentorship 
to youth in the inner city of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Ickey 
Woods Youth Foundation bases it's programs on the "Whole 
Person" concept, which simply states that all individuals 
can achieve their full potential when they are developed 
physically, mentally (intellectually) and spiritually 
(service to others). The foundation takes kids off the 
streets and places them in productive programs such as 
sports, education and drug awareness. Mr. Woods wanted to 
give back to the single moms raising kids that are out of 
control, because they also need a male role model.
